Chantenay Red Cored
Excellent quality selection of the very popular Chantenay type. Very good internal colouring and a sweet flavour.
Albion F1
Albion has a very white skin finish which is noticeably slow to discolour. Roots are of an obovate shape which taper nicely, filling well down the root length making it suitable for retail trade and also popular for processing. Albion produces heavy yields and is suitable for early to main season sowing with lifting from autumn to mid winter.
Javelin F1
Consistent, reliable, flexible and very well proven Javelin is probably the most commercially successful Parsnip variety ever. Javelin produces an obtriangular slender wedge shaped root; ideal for the pre-pack market. Shallow to level crowns make for easy cleaning and the skin appearance is white to very light cream in colour with excellent canker resistance. Javelin can be sown throughout the sowing year and its tremendous field holding capacity means it can be cropped almost continually from July to June.
Monogram
An excellent round monogerm beet, having good vigour, uniform globe shape, smooth skin and very dark internal colour. Seed is Thiram treated and graded for precision drilling.
French Breakfast 3
Very high quality cylindrical roots of excellent uniformity and colour with small white tip.
Marian
Purple top, uniform, high yielding variety in NIAB trials. Bred in Wales with some clubroot and mildew resistance.
Royal Crown
Very attractive white globe variety with cherry red shoulders and good uniformity. Can grow up to 10cm in diameter developing a flat globe shape. Good for autumn cropping.
